  4. The Constitution does not guarantee that former presidents have a secret service detail. That protection is granted by the Former Presidents Protection Act of 2012.

  8. While you could make a credible case for insurrection, against Trump, as we've not been officially at war since WW II, there is no case for treason.

  9.  @Retr0racin  Look at the way the treason statute is written. Unless the country is in a declared war, one cannot commit treason. We have not been in an official state of war since 1945, a year before Trump was born. It is impossible for him to have committed treason.

  10. In some countries the courts are controlled by the "president-for-life", and any would be opposition is charged and convicted of bogus crimes, think Russia, Turkey or Hungary. In one country, judges appoint their replacement, so the ideology of the court never changes, even if the country does, and the courts ignore crimes committed by those who align with them, and bring bogus charges against those on the other side, to force them out of politics. Trump's supporters erroneously think that is what has happened. It isn't, but you'll never convince them he committed the crimes he did.
