  3. If anyone, who shows symptoms, was being tested for monkeypox, that 99% gay men statistic would be a lot smaller. If you only test gay men, you'll only find it in gay men. Physicians need to start testing everyone, who shows symptoms of the disease. This is not an STD, and we need to stop treating it as such. The straight people, and children, who contract this disease, are just as deserving of prophylactic measures and antiviral treatment, as gay men. I'm so sick of political agendas driving public health! Test everyone, regardless of orientation!
