  2. Returning from Israel, we had to walk from the international terminal to the domestic terminal in LA. Even though we had two hours to go through TSA, we missed our next flight because the guys running the checkpoint were officious idiots. I went through the scanner, and this man starts running his hand up my leg. When he got to half an inch from my vulva, I brushed his hand away and told him he was violating my privacy. He said I'm looking for the chain you have on, and pointed to a screen. It was obvious that it was an image of a male, complete with testes and penis. I pointed out I didn't have that anatomy, and that the man in front of me had a chain. I was disgusted both by the way tired to grab a woman's crotch, and the fact that you can really see a person's anatomy on those screens. They are both violations of privacy.

  3. They're reducing the metal sensitivity, good! I'm so sick of my bra hooks setting the damned things off. Asking a few questions works better. We don't have security, we have security theater.

  4. Pre-check used to be free, just based on travel frequency. They should go back to that.

  6. One of my daughter's friend applied to work for TSA. They rejected her for being too intelligent ! They actually told her, she'd get too bored. They actively weed out smart people.

  7. Are you sure it was due to color problems? (And do you mean actual color blindness or bigotry?) I've know people to be rejected for having too high an IQ.
