@lacylou3482 No, Russia has no right dictating to another country, what alliances they may, and may not join. And NATO is not a country, expanding its borders. NATO is an alliance, bringing in new members, with no border changes.

@RoobrtLiwanduski Russia is saying, we can't win our war of aggression, without resorting to methods, that could end the world. The US was trying to end, not win, a war. The US helped rebuild Japan, it did not take it or its resources.

@ovithegreat8817 So, you'd just accept the enemy's threat or bluff, as a fact? Intelligence is needed. And our intelligence predicted the Russian invasion, while Russia was swearing, up and down, they would not invade.

@jaobidan2358 How about all those Ukrainian hospitals and apartments, they claim to have hit by "mistake". Can't have it both ways, either they are purposely targeting innocent civilians, or they have terrible aim. Which is it?

@cyclops9125 I was unaware of any IC chip fab in Siberia. And one thing we have learned from this war, modern warfare requires chips. That is why Russia is cannibalizing toasters and refrigerators, for chips for their drones and 'smart' missiles.

The US has all sort of contingency plans, for numerous implausible situations, including attacks by technologically superior aliens. Chill.
