  2. Claiming that all liberals want open borders is absurd. Did you not see the whole clip, including where Hillary Clinton says we must control who enters our country? True, the rapid far left might want open borders. They are a plague on true liberals, just as white supremacists are a plague on conservatives. But true liberals realize that economic migrants are not refugees. Sadly, Trumps's action, separating families, pushes compassionate people further to the left.

  3. 1. These are not true refugees, they are not victims of genocide. They just want to make more money. Do you see black people in high crime neighborhoods crossing illegally into Canada? This is the same thing. 2. The US has not always allowed true refugees to seek asylum. In the lead-up to WWII, we had a quota on Jews. Even if you made good money, had children fighting in the US Army, and were trying to sponsor family members to get them into the US, you could not. My grandfather tried to save members of his family, but could not get around the quota. All were killed. Claiming we have a history of helping asylum seekers is a lie.
