  2. Immigration began to not work properly sooner than you think. There used to be a program, that levied huge fines on companies or individuals who hire illegal workers. But, to make his rich friends happy, Reagan axed that program. Within weeks, I encountered a lot more people, in Los Angeles, who couldn't speak English. The Bracero program was good. But, we also need to punish those who hire illegal workers.

I'm a Democrat, but would vote for a Republican, if they could put up one who wasn't trying to drag our country back into the bad old days, when an unwanted pregnancy would ruin a young woman's chance at a college education. Oh yeah, and one who wasn't a narcissistic lunatic, who thinks he can rape or molest anyone he fancies. And doesn't want to engage is isolationism. And doesn't have a lot of side deals with Russia, Turkey and China, like TFG did. And doesn't idolize brutal dictators, like Trump and Sanders do. Are there any in either party, besides Haley and Bolton, who realize how beneficial it would be to help the Iranian people get free of their brutal theocratic tyrants? Are there any in the Democratic party, who are willing to automatically deport every single person, who crosses illegally into this country? Are there any in the GOP who will insist the government stays out of women's health care? Having now suffered both Trump's and Biden's presidencies, all I can say is Biden is better than Trump, but not by a lot. I'm not sure who I'll vote for, but it won't be Trump, Biden or DeSantis. It certainly won't be Sanders, Yang, Gabbard, or someone similarly deranged and egotistical.
