I think people are getting the maximum in SNAP now which is $250/month. If he gets another $200 in cash, is that really worth living on a sidewalk? I think not. He is making a living selling drugs, not from welfare. Welfare does help people who want help, who want to eat a nutritious diet and I guess have a little pocket change to do a few things, maybe take a bus or buy a toothbrush. Why is everything concerning the homeless just blanketed with judgments when there are many reasons for different situations? The only constant is that people resent seeing others living on the streets; otherwise, it is really no one else's business how they live their lives. The problem is, "Why are there losers among us?" is what these people are asking. There aren't three P's that explain everything going on. Maybe there are three P's to this author, pretentious, perfunctory, and parsimonious.

What does we'll get them next year mean? They were trying to defer payment? He needed an accountant to do his taxes, not his brother advising him while he was high. I think that is kind of unfair how they threw the book at him. He seems all the better for his situations though. He needs to lay off the fillers. He is starting to look like Mickey Rourke.

You are right. Not only does leather shrink but the latex creates like heavy friction. You can't put on any glove over latex, especially leather. It really seemed like the prosecution wasn't interested in really fighting the case properly. The whole glove thing was a cheap stunt.

@Jim.Jim.32 I have put latex gloves on and they wrinkle up and stick to my skin. Leather is skin, it is cow hide. If you have skin rubbing on latex rubbing on skin, it is going to act as a slip mat. You won't be able to slide your hand into a glove with it. That is why they use latex rubber to make mats that keep rugs from slipping or as nonslip mats in the shower. It has adherent properties.

Shapiro knows he is guilty, but is so into being a great lawyer that he took the case anyway. Now he got moral justice because karma took his son and karma didn't let him get paid for all that work and notoriety from the OJ trial. He is going to pay one way or another for that. It is like the movie The Devil's Advocate where all the lawyer cared about was winning when he knew he was getting off child molesters and murderers. He just wanted to do his job and didn't think about the morality. Here is the thing. Leather shrinks when it is wet. Leather gets stiff and you can't get your hand back into it. The gloves must have shrunk, but somehow Marcia Clark wasn't thinking like this guy was. All she had to do was bring in a shrunken glove and a new glove from the same thin leather, and then show the jury how one fits and one doesn't. She did kind of throw the case. Shapiro knew every dirty legal trick in the book. He won the case but lost his good standing in the universe. I wonder if he will ever really repent. He is being honest but he wasn't right. Did he really think that psychopath OJ would do anything else but laugh with glee? His life wasn't worth more than Nicole's or Ron's just because he was famous for playing football. That was a black mark on the whole nation when he got away with that. Suddenly you couldn't say the N word and there was a huge racial divide as well, like blacks were now entitled to superior treatment.

The town by me harassed and fined a take out business for using a banner across their storefront as the sign for their store. Some towns have strict laws about the ambiance. That is what this is about. It isn't about the corny flags in front of his store. He went and stuck movable poles with waving banners in the parking lot or somewhere near the road. The town doesn't want that stuff all over the property like a used car lot.

If you quit a job, you don't get unemployment. You only get it if you are laid off. If people don't want to come back to their jobs, maybe the bosses need to be more accommodating. No one wants to lose a good job where they feel appreciated an respected.

People have the right to press charges and make a citizens arrest and file lawsuits also. Maybe everyone is giving Brian too much benefit of the doubt. They need to start filing legal documents against him.

All their professionals say there is nothing they can do. These street people are total outcasts. That is how this ends up happening. No one cares about them as human beings. The system works against them instead of for them. Locking them up isn't the answer. I have seen people with those mannerisms years ago in NYC. People are nodding out standing up and the police don't do anything. They look like they could fall over and die. If you have a home and enough money to eat and take care of yourself, it encourages you to want to try to do better. You have a starting point. These people are trying to medicate being flushed down the toilet.

I am wondering if women ever beat the trans, and if they do, do they feel like they beat a man? Do the trans have to say that is what they are before competing? Maybe they need to have a separate birth female medal to compensate for the trans getting to jump in the leagues. One wins as the "female" the other as the natural born female. This is so evil what they are doing to the landlords. It is actually persecution of landlords in the name of tenants' rights. I think they should be allowed to wait for him to go to work, change the locks, put his things in a Pod or U-Haul type vehicle, and tell him take your stuff--you are out. If he doesn't take his things, then they should just donate them or dump them. It isn't fair to force landlords to take care of freeloaders. They won't even apply for the government aid. I understand landlords are often a pain and unfair, but this is just stealing. There won't be any more small landlords if all they get is abuse. Then where are people supposed to live? How will they afford apartments?

Oh and I am sorry for this man and what happened to him. This is a shame and embarassment on all of America if you can have any pride in it any more. It is a shame that a major American city has no law and order downtown against a bunch of crazy teens running wild. Maybe he needed a gate over the windows that slides down, but maybe he had one and they picked the lock on that. What if there were giant attack dogs inside also? Hmm. It takes a lot of faith in the community to open any type of small business and a big sacrifice and risk. I feel he was let down.

Pretending to be on a crew team is a criminal offense? You only go to prison for a felony. What is the felony charge? Are they not going to the county jail at all? Calling Lori Laughlin a felon and a threat to society is laughable. All she is guitly of is being fake. So what, so is the entertainment industry. Are they mad that these people aren't establishment or old money, and yet still finding ways to slip into the better schools? I think this is an egregious miscarriage of justice. I think most people lie or stretch the truth to get into college, pass tests, pass classes, etc. The worst that happened was they were thrown out of school or their projects rejected. This isn't a felony to say your daughters had crew experience when they didn't when they joined the team anyway. What about the coach who allowed this? What about the school who took the money? Nothing happening to them? This is a witch hunt.

Kellyanne was a really great spin doctor and spokesmodel for the Trump brand, but she grows tiresome fast because of her disingenousness. She can make a pig seem like a prince for a while, but then you see the cracks in her facade and her story just crumbles. I think she is retiring because she is no longer the hot blond who is saving Trump's image, that role has been usurped by that McErneny press secretary lady. Trump is probably showing his favor to the new one now or maybe even dismissed Kellyanne now that he has another one. The way he had his hand so delicately around her waist, and the way she had to keep pirouetting and giggle on stage while holding his hand made it seem like the relationship was sexual. I really don't think Trump respects women at all; I think that he controls them so well that they will pretend they are being respected when they are being used and humiliated. I don't think Kellyanne is stupid; I don't know what her game is. Maybe she is just selfish like most MAGA supporters and will sell her soul for a job. Her grown kids don't suddenly need a mother to watch over them while they are on the computer. Her husband suddenly resigning also, it sounds like it is some big personal thing going on. Her husband even put Trump down maybe defending his wife. Trump is a sleaze, and she made him seem like maybe he wasn't so much, but he is, and she lowered herself by associating with him. Also what is with the Martha reporter who looks just like the deposed Megyn Kelly? This is like the war of the doppelgangers between the media and the White House. Megyn was key in making Trump look "not so good". Now her look alike Martha is reporting on the other former model being replaced by the newer, more Trump friendly version.
