  1. The city is allowing these vendors who play by the rules to be pushed out by the lawless ones. This old guy has to sleep in a van, or they will steal his spot, and they aren't supposed to be there anyway. They will leave their cart out to make sure he can't get that spot again. They are probably the ones making noise complaints to drive these legitimate people away and get their spot. NYC is completely mismanaged against the residents. They can't do anything about fake licenses, but they can worry and harass these two about noise from a hot dog cart? What kind of noise could they possibly be making? If you want to get beaurocrats to change their tune, you have to insist until you get your way. You have to argue them into a corner.

  2. This scared me to death. I don't see how it is fun to risk your life like that. I don't see how can be so confident to do something like that. I think he is trying to get in touch with his spiritual side. He needs to go to these great lengths to feel something real. If he just lived a simple life, he could get the same feelings without all the risk. The Angolans already live that simple life and he is switching it up on them, giving them solar panels. Now they will get EMF poisoning and get depressed and need to go risk their life on a rock to get some peace. I admire what he does, he is in great shape, but it seems to be off mentally. I just don't see the point. I guess if you are really skilled you can do this, but it seems like such a strange way to invest your time and energy. I get terrified just hiking in the woods when I see a rope on the trail or have to come down a steep incline. You suddenly start to question the value of your life.
