  25. Americans have voted for the about the past sixty years for a pluralistic democracy with a robust middle class. We need to recognize that while such a condition is possible, it is not the natural state of a capitalist economy. It needs to be maintained. The natural state of the capitalist economy is like the Christmas Carol which you've probably read or at least seen the animated Mr. Magoo version, with the rich, a small managerial middle class, the working poor and the starving masses.

  27.  @anaruizguti  Normal protocols would have spaced those two injections further apart, but they wanted to get as much immunity built up in the population as possible as quickly as possible. I'm also thinking that they're going to tweak the vaccines to take the variants into account.
