  1. Either/or thinking. There's a lot of territory between "testing everybody every day" and "slow the testing down". Here's the thing: When each infected person infects, on average, two or more uninfected people, you have exponential spread. When each infected person infects, on average, one uninfected person, you have the "plateau". When each infected person infects, on average, less than one uninfected person, the virus recedes and can be managed by isolation, tracing, and additional testing.
