@themanwithnoname4385 No, it would be worth just as much as anybody else's would. Iyt just wouldn't be worth MORE.

@themanwithnoname4385 States would cease to be relevant. Nobodies vote would count more than anybody else.

Construct an argument for the Electoral College that doesn't rest on calling people who disagree with you morons.

Please god. No more amateurs.

It matters insofar as it's an expression of the will of, you know, the PEOPLE. Oh, you can get the presidency without the popular vote, but you can't claim, at least not with any semblance of legitimacy, that the people are behind you.
1
Wrong. Those "analysts" were simply citing polls that would not be relevant in real life because they did not and, indeed, could not measure the effect of the GOP smear machine turning on Bernie full force.

trump is killing actual babies in his camps.

It doesn't matter how many candidates there are at this juncture. Iowa and New Hampshire will start winnowing the field (although NH won't have the impact it's had in the past because it's right next door to Bernie's Vermont. Super Tuesday will finish the job. That and the fact that the $$$ will start drying up for the lower finishers real soon.

Do you have any videos of these folks voting. I mean everybody carries a cell phone these days.

@jimking8754 If it's straight popular vote, "AREAS" won't have a say at ALL. Just PEOPLE. (Pretty simple concept.)

@Chris L Oh no. Actually one OF the founders expressed it best and that was Jefferson: "But I know also that laws and institutions must keep pace with the times. We might as well require a man to wear the coat which fitted him when a boy , as civilized society to remain ever under the regimen of their barbarous ancestors."
1
@jimking8754 I know enough about math to know that one equals one and that under straight popular vote that no single person's vote will count more than any other single person's vote, regardless of where they live. You are so used to the concept of thinking of voters as residents of states, cities or even counties (the most useless metric of which I can conceive) that you're incapable of seeing them as individuals.

@GotoHere It was also supposed to prevent someone like trump from becoming president. It was designed to be a circuit breaker, not a red carpet.

I always go to the circus when it's in town.
