@andrewcroft7995 thats funny. usually im the one saying that by every metric of which these things are measured are 'against' ukraine. wanna talk about equipment numbers or production figures and how russia is outproducing the entire collective west by themselves in most fields, or the brutally flat open terrain that favors the guy with more artillery (which is their focus), or the logistical nightmare for ukraine who has to travel 16 hours to get to the front from the border and where theres only 2 highways to get there and that also goes across nothing but flat open country? or maybe the electric trains that can be incapacitated anytime russia wants to by knocking out a single substation? or how bout those 60 ton western main battle tanks that cant cross many of the bridges in the east, that will get stuck in the mud, and that all the different western tanks are maintenance heavy and all have their own very specific needs that the ukrainians are learning on the fly? and im really just scratching the surface arent i? it would be a literal miracle if the ukrainians were doing anything even remotely close to what they claim.

@andrewcroft7995 i mean think about it just on a tactical level on a flat open field. you may get the better of them. you may do it again. but eventually the other guy is going to learn all your tricks and then what are you going to do? its not like you can hide in the jungle or in the mountains like the taliban or the viet cong can you? and russia has whole categories of weapon systems the ukrainians lack and arent down to cluster munitions because they have burned through everything else are they? should i go on?

@andrewcroft7995 regardless of the nonsense, it certainly didnt go like they planned but the whole southern part of the country still fell didnt it? and there were a lot of fixed fortifications built all over down there. and this was from an army that was only 200k large while ukraine had close to a million and where russia was actually the one who was taking ground in the north by the time they finally withdrew and this was from isw.

as of 30 days ago the un was reporting 27,149 civilian casualties in total since the start of the war. you call that genocide? because if so the US is in a lot of trouble... and has russia banned the ukrainian language and is trying to erase ukrainian culture and history? because ukraine most certainly has to the russians that would have made even stephan bandera smile.
