Russia can have influence when they don't have troops on the ground. Problem is WHEN they have troops on the ground, killing Muslim Chechens and Syrians. Africa is too far away from Russia for that.

@ic7481 usually all the current and earlier "empires", USA, UK, France and Russia have their fingers in wherever there is military conflict. When it comes to the so-called Arab spring, it's complex. Usually dictatorships will have periods of uprising.

@ic7481 Not complex? Are you saying that people are revolting simply because of social media and not because they want it? Then a large part of the population must be retarded. Prigozhin admitted in Russian state media that they meddled with the American elections before Trump won, but it doesn't mean Americans didn't want him. You must have awfully little faith in the populations if you think they are that easily controllable.

@ic7481 Also please consider the fact that it's more likely to be uprisings when the leaders of certain countries have no legitimacy, being dictators and all. When there is regular and sound handover of power after elections, life sure is better for everyone.

@gtaambassador744 Customers don't even know where the resources come from. They need to pay proper prices, set by African exporters. But politicians all over the world are afraid that Africa will become independent and set their own prices.
