  1. If American Jews (who are mostly of the left) immigrated en masse to Israel, Likud would be finished for at least 2 generations. That'd be a nearly 2/3 increase in the Israeli population, and nearly 3/4 of the new voters would tend to support center-left or leftist parties. But the reason American Jews haven't already done this is that most of them prefer being American. And nobody should have to leave their country if they don't want to.

  2.  @Linda43  No, it's simply because not every Jew identifies with Israel. Many Jews identify more with the nation of their birth.
