  2. What you also have in Australia is a Green Party that's actually worthy of the name instead of being one person's grifting machine. Because that's what the American Green Party is. Every four years, it comes out of hibernation to solicit donations for an also-ran presidential candidate. No serious effort is ever made at winning House or Senate seats, or even state legislative seats, not even in states that do have ranked choice voting.
