  1. Japan never HAD much in the way gun violence, so that's an absurd comparison. For that matter, Japan banned civilian ownership of weapons all the way back when the sword was the primary weapon.

  2. And there's no such thing as "group rights". If you have to be part of a group to exercise a right, then it's not actually a right at all. Also, microstamping? The problem is that the technology you want to mandate doesn't actually exist.
