Ivermectin has literally zero effectiveness as a COVID treatment. It makes no difference what it costs if it doesn't do anything. A glass of water is free, but that doesn't make water a valid COVID treatment.

 @southernfriedprepper5066 No it's not being used in those places. Japan doesn't use it at all to treat COVID, let alone "with quite a success rate."

@lazylady8591 The scientists William Campbell and Satoshi Omura won the 2015 Nobel Prize for demonstrating Ivermectin's effectiveness against tropical parasites. COVID-19 is caused by a virus, not a parasite. Ivermectin's effectiveness against a completely different type of disease is irrelevant. There was also a Nobel Prize awarded in 1945 of the discovery of penicillin. Does that make penicillin a COVID treatment? How about streptomycin (1952 Nobel Prize)?

@lazylady8591 The point is that your touting of the 2015 Nobel Prize is irrelevant. All that matters with regard to Ivermectin as a COVID treatment is if there's any evidence that it works. And that evidence is...lacking to say the least.
