Yep, it looks like the original so long as you don't have an original F/A-18 nearby to compare. Or an F-15 Eagle nearby to see that the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet is actually bigger. Fortunately F-15 Eagles aren't common sights on aircraft carriers.

Or even if they'd gone through with the proposal to complete USS Hawaii as a missile cruiser.

@gregorywright4918 It's not about the armor, it's that on a bigger ship you can fit a larger, more comprehensive sensor suite without making the ship excessively topheavy. Which was a significant issue with the light cruiser conversions. The Galveston- and Providence-class cruisers (converted Clevelands) had significant stability problems from the topweight of the conversions, and also issues with hull warping. If Hawaii had been completed as a large missile cruiser, it's very likely that she would've been built without armor. Little of the armor had been installed yet when work had halted, and most likely what armor had already been installed would've been removed. Had Alaska and Guam also been converted, most likely the armor would've been left in place because it wouldn't have been worthwhile to remove it. But as with the smaller cruisers, we would've seen some or all of the main guns and existing superstructure removed in favor of missiles. In theory the advantage of converting light cruisers is that there's more of them. But in practice only a handful of the Clevelands actually got converted into missile cruisers. Replacing a couple of those conversions with Alaska conversions would've been more expensive, but also would've probably gotten more value for the money.
