@Easy-Eight The CF-101 was obviously inferior to the Arrow. And to other aircraft that were available at the time. If Diefenbaker was going to buy a licensed American interceptor, he should've at least had the decency to choose a good one like the F-106. But maybe that delta wing reminded him too much of the Arrow, a program which Diefenbaker seems to have had an irrational hatred of.
