  1. With regard to disposition of surviving German surface ships...why didn't the Soviets complete Graf Zeppelin and put it in service? From what I understand, Stalin wanted carriers as well as battleships just as a matter of prestige, and that would've given the Soviet Navy some experience in their operation.

  2. I imagine an Admiral-class comparison should've made for an excellent aircraft carrier, given the combination of large size and high speed.
