@madmanmapper They absolutely were in danger. Trump's mob intended to murder them had they managed to breach the House and Senate before the members evacuated. Those zipties and that gallows and noose weren't for fun and games. And the $2,000 checks would've happened if not for Senate Republicans blocking it. Once Biden is President, Republicans will no longer control the Senate and those checks will quickly get passed.

@atmywhitson They can't get that COVID relief bill done until Mitch McConnell stops blocking it in the Senate. And Moscow Mitch has made it clear he's not going to do that. Thus, the COVID relief bill can only happen once Kamala Harris is sworn in as VP and Bitch McConnell is demoted to Senate Minority Leader.

@simon6071 No, it was Republicans who rejected $2000 in COVID relief. It was Republicans who insisted that it would be $600 and no more than that. Once Republicans are out of power, it'll be possible to get $2000 checks passed.

They're cutting ties with Parler because Parler was being used as a staging ground for terrorist attacks. Imagine if Parler had been allowing al-Qaeda to plot terror attacks on their platform and not banning the accounts. Would you expect anybody to keep doing business with Parler after that?
