  1. Not to mention, there's no reason that NATO would confine themselves to going through the Suwalki gap to reinforce the Baltic states in the event of a Russian invasion. It's only a chokepoint if NATO refuses to make a counter-invasion of Russian and Belarusian territory. After all, why would you limit yourself to advancing through a narrow 40 mile wide corridor when you can also use the 140 mile Poland-Kaliningrad border to the north and 260 mile Poland-Belarus border to the south of the gap?
