@Boomstick McNugget I'm guessing that a significant portion of those T-72s and T-80s in storage were actually just husks that got cannibalized for parts to keep the rest of Russia's T-72 and T-80 fleets operational.

@73North265 Presumably if they're going to use The T-54/55 as makeshift artillery, they'll create additional elevation by driving up hills. Or where hills aren't available, use dozers to pile up some dirt. That said, this is a very rudimentary artillery capability they'd be getting. Immensely vulnerable to Ukraine's drones and their own artillery, and without nearly as much range, accuracy, or HE payload as a dedicated howitzer.
