I must say that this is new to me,I lived in Jerusalem as a young woman in my 20s(not jewinsh)about 30 yrs ago,I took the bus between old city and the busstation so many times,I was dressed in shorts and sleeveless tops,Never Ever did any orthodoc jew harrass me or be mean to me!! I sometimes had to ask for directions in the bus or in the streets,they always tried to help,they spoke american english, they were polite and helpful. When did it change? when did they become scary and mean?
