  1. Even back a few years before, the history channel was very ww2 american-oriented with civil war sprinkled in. I think they could have saved it by not turning to the reality shows, but by branching off from the same old ww2 and civil war stuff to Celtic history, Chinese history, canadian history, etc, from actual experts in their fields. My go to places are actually on youtube now. This channel, histocrat, history of the earth, history of the universe, etc.

  4. At least ancient aliens is trying to do history (as neo-mythological as it is), but pawn stars and ice road truckers is just reality show stuff that I really dont want.
