Criminals getting off on a technicality is one of the most annoying things about the US justice system - 3rd to wrongfully convicted innocents and bad cops getting off because the DA needs law enforcement to be on their side. It’s truly unfortunate this happened - mainly because Cosby’s victims have been delivered a major slap in the face. What I’ll offer is that Cosby never should’ve been offered this deal. With 60 victims, he should have been convicted without his confession as testimony.
