And here you go, you will guess stuff instead of actually measuring stuff and getting actual correct results. There is nothing complicated about metric system, nothing... No idea why people are scared.
And we have 12 months mainly due to amount of lunar cycles. There is no good reason to change it now, entire world uses 12 months as standard, switching it to 10 will not bring you any real benefit besides generalizing things with metric system.
Similar thing with clocks, even tho in normal countries you have 24 clocks, US still uses 12h clocks... This could be changed to 10 hours in a day, but it just gets messy, you would need to change minutes too, so 10 hours, 100 minutes in hour, 100 seconds in a minute. So it would be switch from 86400 seconds in a day to 100000 of those, which isint that big of a difference. Would simply things, but it would cost quite a bit of headache to make this switch. And issue is that you kind of need to do it in one go as you can't just have 2 time measuring systems at one time which uses same names, so then it would need to introduce new names for those seconds, minutes, hours, weeks, months and so on... Do you see how much trouble it would cause? This is not the same with metric system, entire world already uses it, we have separate names, entire scientific world uses it, only 3 remaining countries tries to stick with outdated measuring system for no good reason.
