Including Karl Marx himself.
35
Pol Pot gave them a good run for their money.
7
Its founder, Karl Marx didn't work much throughout his adult life. It figures.
5
@hb2495 Okay, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
4
No we weren't. Even the tribal and communal societies of the past had hierarchies and "inequality."
4
Exactly.
4
And if anything, history proved Robespierre right as revolutionaries consistently become even bigger oppressors than the people they overthrew ever were and eventually eat their own. Castro - Batista Lenin and Stalin - Tsar Nicholas Mao - Chiang Pol Pot - Sianhouk Mugabe - Smith Mengistu - Selassie
4
@seasalt489 Is that you, Pol Pot?
4
Case in point: every socialist/communist regime that ever existed.
3
But Pol Pot killed 20% of Cambodia's overall population.
3
True.
3
@charlespayne1707 And a lot of the problems Black people have been suffering post-CRA have been under Democrat leadership. Broken families with no father around (Johnson), mass incarceration (Clinton, and Biden was the actual genius behind the 1994 Crime Bill), the erosion of Black wealth (Obama). And speaking of Obama, police brutality reached an all-time high under him. Ghetto housing (any Democrat mayor).
3
@westernscythian8677 How about the liberal as defined by Vladimir Lenin?
3
<He referred to the Russian people as " useful idiots."> No. That's what he referred to the Western leftist liberals who support communism/socialism yet were clueless to the state tyranny it entailed as.
3
LMAO
3
Tree bark, grass, feces, etc.
3
Case in point: every other socialist/communist regime that ever existed.
3
@Death To capitailists Are you talking about yourself?
3
@viracocha6093 Communism is a greater evil than Islam. Islam's crimes against humanity pale in comparison to communism's.
2
Yes it does as socialism was the reason Venezuela no longer had a diversified economy. Chavez price-controlled and nationalized it out of existence in the process of depending entirely on oil to keep the country afloat and buy votes from the poor to ensure his re-election. He was just fortunate enough to die before SHTF which left Maduro to bear the brunt of his policies that resulted in what you're seeing now. Shortages of virtually everything including toilet paper, mass migrations, famine, hyper-inflation and going from the wealthiest country in South America to officially the poorest country in South America with the world's highest crime rate to boot.
2
@vwgames49 BLM is funded by a Marxist. <Bernie is a Democratic Socialist, which is completely different> Not really. He's just a reformed commie. Abd by the way, how did this democratic socialism work out for Venezuela and Greece?
2
And what would that be?
2
That's because they haven't lived long enough to know any better.
2
Who live in capitalist democracies no less.
2
@mutualaltruism6658 Not really. Land redistribution is not a conservative economic policy but par for the Marxist/socialist/communist course.
2
@fidelcastro8481 Says communism's biggest beneficiary.
2
As usual.
2
That sounds like much of post-colonial Africa when its liberators became the new oppressors treating the people even crueler than their former colonizers did.
2
What about the French, Spaniard, Portuguese, Dutch and Belgians?
2
And from the same bourgeoisie they denounce.
2
@caindecarias2856 Um. No. The French Revolution and every other communist regime will suffice. No mainstream media needed.
2
@WarCrimeGaming And he paid off that IMF loan he took to build the presidential palace on the backs of his own citizens by letting them starve and freeze to death.
2
@nickmoser7785 Like the average revolutionary. Nor did he impose one-party rule, state-controlled economies or established labor/re-education camps or had hundreds of thousands of productive citizens killed/jailed/exiled in the name of "the people."
2
@nickmoser7785 Most notably Angola and the Congo. And one of the richest people in the continent is the daughter of a Cuban puppet.
2
@PoweredByLS2 Only to become an even bigger oppressor than the colonizers ever were. Like every other revolutionary.
2
@WarCrimeGaming Vietnam and China only after adopting some capitalist reforms in the 80's. Laos is a Chinese client state. So North Korea and Cuba are the only pure socialist countries still in existence. North Korea surviving as a buffer between China and the US via South Korea propped up by China. And Cuba is surviving on US remittances and food aid, Canadian tourism, Venezuelan oil and renting out its doctors to other countries.
2
If your schools weren't run by Marxists and other far-left types.
2
@seasalt489 Typical tankie response.
2
Tyranny is perfectly fine if the tyrant in question is left-wing/Marxist/socialist/far-left/communist/freedom-fighter/liberator/etc.
2
Or Tanzania under Nyerere turning it from one of the top food-exporters to the world's #1 foreign-aid recipient thanks to his forced collectivization policies.
2
@Death To capitailists Yet you're advocating for a system that literally works for the 1% in socialism as anyone who isn't part of the ruling elite and well-connected is SOL.
2
Apparently, neither do you. What slavery? You voluntarily sought those corporations for a job, submitting your resume/application form and all, accepted an interview and job along with whatever salary and position they were offering. Let me not forget to mention that you're also free to quit if you don't like the job as there's another person all too happy to take your place. It's not the corporation's fault you don't have the savvy, acumen, balls, etc. to start your own business.
2
Whatever, tankie!
2
<because they dared to be different.> By adopting an idea that have consistently turned once-prosperous countries into hellholes like Zimbabwe, North Korea and Cuba?
2
@JagmasterGeneral12374 That makes him communist. It's not that far off from Lenin, Castro, Mao, etc. used to do. It falls in line with general state control and collectivization.
2
@EugeneAyindolmah Land redistribution falls in line with the state control consistent with socialism/communism. Seize the land, kill the "kulak/bourgeoisie" farmers and redistribute it to political henchmen. It's also called collectivization.
2
Exactly.
2
They're both collectivist ideas and were founded by Marx disciples.
2
Lenin was every bit a brutal. It's just he didn't live long enough to see it through like Stalin.
2
@shebbs1 Exactly. All he cared about was making Black people a permanent underclass which he succeeded at by displacing Black men from the family/community with welfare.
