  4. Due to its first 4 leaders being tyrants who had no economic viable plan. And one of them (Boyer) reinstated slavery to get the production levels up.

  5. Nelson Mandela was soft and didn't have the balls to do what L'Ouverture did, especially after his stint in jail and losing his Soviet support.
