  1. Maybe because the 5 companies don't control the costs of production and distribution of food which have an effect on the final sale price. This is where the Carbon and Fuel taxes come in.

When you're trying to found housing as in the case of someone fleeing an abusive relationship, but can't because all the rent-controlled housing is occupied with no one in a hurry to move out.
