If anything, rent control was a restriction on how much rent landlords could legally charge and collect to cover basic operating expenses. <restricting the market to luxury home growth, and reducing tenants rights.> That would be rent control and lopsided rental laws in favor of tenants Ford rightfully removed. Luxury home growth is the end result of high building and real estate costs along with zoning restrictions.
