@Cataclysm1 <Short term rentals are unethical > But long-term rentals have been made costly and unviable by government over-regulation hence why Air BnB is seen as an attractive alternative. <eliminating AirBnB would increase available supply for both purchase or long-term rent, therefore reducing costs in the end. > Not really as thanks to government meddling, landlords would much rather let a unit go empty than rent to a bad tenant they're not legally allowed to evict in a timely manner.
