  2. Even then if they are on the left they will never blame the policy. They see it as a failure to implement the policy "correctly". Dems put up a new candidate, the left votes for them, policies stay the same, and repeat. In the past there was cycles, progressives would destroy NYC, their voters would flee, republicans (Rudy Giuliani) would fix things. Now Democrats figured out they can replace their fleeing voters with new foreign voters so even if leftists leave to Connecticut, dems will keep power with their new voting block.
