  1. If the actions of the French navy in the English channel is anything to go by, with the French assisting the people smuggling, then Italy can expect lot of migrants being sent from France to Italy.

  2.  Anthony Burke  but there are credible news reports of the French navy escorting migrant boats into uk waters, rather than returning them to France. So it is not fake news, it is French policy.

  3.  @0xCAFEF00D  the source was an LBC video, which believe was repeated on channel 4. I doubt if this is a French policy that will appear in writing in French training manuals. But if it happened more than once, it is unlikely to be the scenario you're suggesting.
