  1. There has been a similar drop in imports from the EU, and that is before the UK imposes tariffs and restrictions. Now that is a really good sign.

  2.  @johnjeanb  it is easy to lie with statistics, use percentages to hide the value.

  3.  @duarteferreira1993  it is the EU that is a joke. Given that EU exports to the UK were greater than the other way round, the value of any reduction is not reflected in the percentages. Anything that reduces EU exports to the UK is welcome. The reduction will only increase when the UK starts to apply tariffs and changes to standards to EU imports.
