  1. The EU binds the member states together by creating an interdependent web of manufacturing and agricultural supply chains that stretch across the whole of the EU. The parts ,components and raw materials are transported repeatedly between member states until the final product reaches the customer. While this is politically expedient, it is extremely damaging for the environment and for the member states. The latter because it removes their ability to be self sufficient and de-skills them in the process.
