  2. No it end with the EU super state being torn apart by violent revolution, beset on all sides by enemies responding to the threat posed by the agressive action of the EU army. Maybe with the UK asked to provide a peace keeping force to stop the hated eurocrats from being executed in the streets. No more far fetched than your suggestion and some of mine my yet come true.

  5.  @ChrisRedfield--  I think you may be right. The EU is morphing into a super state with a big brother in control who imposes austerity because of manufactured existential threats.
