  1. Another reason not to buy a new car. No doubt all eurocrat's cars will be exempt from this rule. Set the maximum limit at 30kph and maybe battery powered vehicles will be viable and have a useful range.

  2. @Subliminal Origami I suspect there will be an increase in deaths resulting from head on collisions during overtaking maneuvers. It is also likely that pedestrian deaths will increase as drivers on low speed roads lose attention focus, accelerating to the speed limit.
