It seems reasonable that if Ukraine is being accused of firing the missile, Ukraine has a good legal case for access to the evidence, even if Poland accepts that the Ukraine missile landed in Poland by accident, the unavoidable consequence of Ukraine attempting to defend itself from a Russian missile attack. It is possible that NATO is constructing a narrative that will avoid escalating with conflict by further involving NATO. What ever the truth, there can be little doubt that Russia is the ultimate guilty party, and has the death of these two polish citizens to add to its long list of war crimes.
