  1.  Jack Shite  wrong, it will happen again or something very much like it. As the negative feedback margins that control the global temperature are eroded, the climate will oscillate between ever greater extremes, with extreme weather events becoming ever more common. This will continue until the feedback becomes positive and then the earth temperature will head for a new stable state at an exponential rate. You had better hope the new state is favourable to life, something that is certainly not guaranteed. In the worst case scenario we could be heading to towards an atmosphere that resembles that of Venus. It has been speculated that the evolution of life on earth has compensated for the slow rise in solar output. If this is the case, then there will be no going back once life on earth has reached an extinction tipping point. It will not recover or evolve again. The earth will be a dead world.

  2.  @marcatteberry1361  wrong again, the signs are oscillating between extremes. Wait long enough and you may get the fireballs, well at least fire storms. The result of extreme hot weather. Other places in the world have already seen such events. Recently there have been wild fires above the attic circle.
