  1. The EU can't control its own border, so it is going to control the Libyan border. One might suspect this is more to do with demonstrating the influence of an EU navy, than anything of practical value. The EU is now very keen to show it is a military power. Does anyone else wonder who is making the weapons that are being smuggled into Libya and where the money is coming from for their purchase?
