It this an examp!e of altruistic democracies opposing a dictator or is this about oil? Would so many states be interested if it were not for Venezuelan oil. The Russians and Chinese have significant investments in the country, this is a potential flash point for east west conflict. Yet again the west is setting a dangerous preceedent. What is very suspicious is that there are similar failed states in the world ruled by oppressive dictators, but lacking oil resources, the world seems disinterested in them.
