  2.  @RobLocksley  it might be a witness statement, something he can later use in his defence. it's important to establish an alibi in the face of a judgement by history. The only reason he liked Mrs May, is because she was on his side and did what he wanted, this left the uk with no one representing its interests.

  4.  @RobLocksley  you can't be that well informed, or you would not be defending the EU. I am tired with those from the EU lecturing those in the uk, about what they should and should not do. You do not have a Monopoly on the moral high ground. The uk exercised its rights to leave the EU, under the rules of the organisation. What it does now is for the UK alone to decide.

  5.  @e3498-v7l  the eu wishes to usurp the loyalty a citizen might feel towards their nation state and replace it with unquestioning loyalty towards the eu federal super state. The us has been attempting this for more than two centuries, with its schools policy of pledging allegiance to the flag. I would not be surprise if this measure was not soon introduced into eu member state schools. Curiously the eu likes to take on the trappings of a nation, with its anthems, embassies, flag and proposed military force, but when thing get difficult, it quickly falls back to passing any blame on to the member states. This is something of a digression, but not that far, given that Barney is nothing more than a eurocrate, a lowly civil servant. But in the eu the servants have become the masters, telling the member states what they must do.

Since you appear to concentrate on personal insults, I can only assume that you have no grasp of the wider political considerations and are simply childishly naive and completely gullible where the eu is concerned.
