  1. It is reasonable that the EU protects itself from corruption, which appears widespread because the EU is so poor in prosecuting offenders. But when such sanctions are applied to member states, It is all a question about who makes the laws. Will these sanctions be used at a later date to force member states to comply with EU federal ambitions against their will or used to impose EU migrant policy on unwilling governments?
