  1. The greater the cost of importing from the EU, the quicker UK producers will adapt to supply the gap in the market. I suspect there will be a huge increase in fruit and vegetables grown under glass in the UK. That in the long term will cut imports from the EU, a very good thing.

  2. The EU is going to need an army to fight all the wars it is going to get involved in. It is going to go from being harmless to mostly harmless, just sufficiently dangerous to make it a target.

  3.  @paulneville7154  but the money will stay in the UK economy and not be exported off shore. Brexit is about changing the economic environment in favour of home produced rather than imports. It was always a false economy to import cheap food, as the profits were lost to the UK economy, employment was lost, productive farmland was wasted, the natural environment was damaged, and the country became less self sufficient.
