For real they don't need to. Russia is already overproduces NATO in military goods. The only thing China is doing good - trades with Russia on civilian market. Russian volume of trade with China is already bigger than it was with all EU before the sanctions. China produces economy grow for Russia and for itself, and denies western embargo. All this discourse is just western propaganda tries to sit on both chairs. Demonise China, and not to be in position where embargo and arrest of Chinese property will end up in nationalization of all western industry in China. And all west will be left with - just all money and no goods.
