@miroslavplancak Your data is 40 years ourdated. In 1990-ths Russia privatized most of the industry. Obviously some, like arms, are still in government property. Some like oil has so strong influence, they are the ruling party or at least a part of it. But a very big part is really private owned. Most of metal and raw resources for example.
And everyone know now Russa has PMCs.
And western countries obviously too have some government owned industry, and lobby is not something unusual.
China has big growing private owned market sector too. Idk how their arms industry works, but still. If you will read modern chineese ideology, they don't care about private property, they are just strongly against busieness pushing their agenda in government law-making systems. That's the different between market economy and capitalism. Capitalism is a rule of capital for sake of capital.
In the west, if colony doesn't make money and has bad forecast, capital will not invest in it, even if it means battle lost for loyal to them colont management. No hard feelings, just business. That's the current state of Ukraine.
