  1. As you say and as those of us who pay attention know "Made in China" would be more accurate now as "Made in [Communist] China" !!! At least it's affecting China as much as the rest of the world. The standards of everything in ancient China is Like a different reality. And is probably a main reason why the "Cultural Rev." happened . The less industrious Chinese people of the time were unwilling to follow the "Imperial Edicts" of quality, pride, etc, that you mention.
