YouTube land is filled with car enthusiasts ceramic coating their ride with great love and I also saw some Mustang guys letting their car innocently go 15,000 miles with redline and amsoil oils. Bad idea. This video is a breath of fresh air. Thank you again AMD! Some day we will enjoy watching you debunk the lifetime transmission fluid!

Hi Brother! I go through a lot of stop and go city traffic and idle everyday during my lunch hour. I’m thinking about switching to 3000 mile oil changes and 30,000 miles transmission fluid flushes. Is this a good thing to extend the life of the car or is this an overkill? Thank you.

@TheCarCareNut Thank you dear brother. The feeling that comes from knowing the car and it’s maintenance from you is incredible. I enjoy that while driving and gratefully think about you while I’m at the dealership. Having schooled from your videos, I feel confident and empowered.

@on-site4094 I think it is more of a market pressure. When one manufacturer has LED headlights, everyone has to join to stay relevant.

@BryanTorok I wonder what the price difference is between regular vs LED headlight assembly replacement for Toyotas. The part costs close to $1500 per side for a BMW 2 series 🙂.

@Prestiged_peck Cool. Are they city or mostly highway miles? Yep, the new 2018+ Coyotes have plasma arc coated (sleeveless) cylinders. I know some batches had cylinder scuffing and oil consumption issues.

Hi brother! A question came up about checking oil levels. I do check once a month. When the engine is cold, the level should be about half way between the dots in the dipstick. When the engine is warmed up to operating temperature and turned off, after waiting for 5 minutes, the oil level should be on the max level on the dipstick. Is my understanding correct? Thank you!

@TheCarCareNut Thank you! A lot of times I have misread the cold reading to be an oil consumption issue as it is usually below the max limit. I will check the hot reading going forward!

Well said.

Hi Brother! Excellent video to help us protect the greatest asset that helps us go to work. It is recommended 5000 miles/6 months. If we move up a notch to the traditional 3000 miles/3 months, is it even better or is it at a point were benefits are not much different? Thanks for taking the time to deeply explain this.
