With the S-400 in Crimea out of action and Crimea bases under constant attack, Russia has no way of covering its ships from attack F-16s can simple use 2 tiered attack, one attacks with decoys while another from the ships blindspot With its frigates destroyed , Russians naval blockade of Ukraine will end its Corvettes vs the Harpoon would be sheer insanity Thats called massive strategic game changer

@A.Hunter279 While Ukrainian MIG-29s and Su-27 can only use western weapons at fraction of their capability The F-16 can fully use western weapons to maximum capability Case in point Ukraine can only use the HARM in Target Of Opportunity (TOO) mode whereas the F-16 use all mode Pre-Briefed (PB), Target Of Opportunity (TOO) and Self-Protect (SP) mode Russia is using jamming against JDAM however the F-16 with LANTIRN pods allows the F-16 to use Laser guided bombs which can't be jammed The F-16 can also use AGM-65 which again is immune to jamming lastly the US can do Ukraine a solid by wiring the F-16s for Storm Shadows or better gift some older model JASSM-As

@A.Hunter279 As for the F-16 The Ukraine airforce has very old and obsolete R-27, R-73 and R-77s And even what they got from the few countries is not enough Now with the F-16 It can use AIM-9, ASRAAM. MICA, and Python-5 for WVR and AIM-120 and Meteor for BVR All thanks to its NATO stand MIL-STD data bus bus most importantly The F-16s has modernized radar which means Ukraine with the right tactics can get off BVR shots against Russian assets I wouldnt be surprised if the UK wired some of those F-16s to be able to use ASRAAM, Meteor and Storm Shadow as the F-16 has MIL-STD data and is made by Lockheed, they would have no trouble getting it done quickly

Far from it Ukraine is asking for weapons so they can decisively end things ATACMS. F-16s and air defense equipment in numbers is what Ukraine needs to decisively end things
